Mayor’s Golf Invitational Tournament
April 16 | 8:00 am | Querbes Park Golf Course
Join us for the first annual Mayor’s Golf Invitational Tournament, the official golf tournament of Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins. Individual costs are $125 and foursome costs are $500. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit scholarships for students attending Grambling State University and Southern University. For more information visit,

Party on the Red
April 16-17 | 4:00 pm | Festival Plaza
Party on the Red, April 16-17, will take place at Festival Plaza in downtown Shreveport from 4 p.m. – 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday. There will be amazing food, entertainment and craft vendors. Friday’s entertainment lineup includes Southern Komfort, Alter Ego, Brandon Campbell, Zydeco and Calvin Richardson. Saturday’s entertainment lineup includes Bun B, Tipsey the Band, Hot 8 Brass Band and Tank. The cost is $15 for a single ticket, 2-seater pod is $40, 3-seater pod is $60, and 4-seater pod is $80. VIP tents are $225 and fit eight people.
